Answer:

Explanation:

Oral Hygiene is a constant battle with the bad bacteria in your mouth. You sweep it away in the evening, and it is back in the morning. Yes, when you brush your teeth (and floss) in the evening, you remove plaque and hopefully even their anchor points on the tooth’s surface. Over night, however, your salivary glands produce less saliva, the reduction of saliva causes less remineralization, you swallow less often, don’t eat and usually move your tongue less. All of this provides a great opportunity for the bacteria left in the mouth after the evening brush to multiply, cling to the surface of your teeth and even attract other bacteria (forming plaque), start giving off lactic acid which starts to demineralize your teeth.
