As plastics are non-biodegradable it cannot be decomposed by the earth's soil easily .

It is even a major problem of pollution.

• It causes LAND POLLUTION when it is thrown on the streets,road and land bodies

• It even causes WATER POLLUTION  when it is thrown in the water bodies like the lakes, rivers , etc.

• When burnt as well it causes AIR POLLUTION

NOT ONLY PLASTICS THERE ARE OTHER NON-BIODEGRADABLE WASTES SUCH AS CANS, MEDICINE BOTTLES, TOXIC CHEMICAL CONTAINERS, ETC WHICH POLLUTE THE ENVIRONMENT

So, we have to use the 3Rs in our day today life to prevent these things.
