Why do we have two eyes

We have 2 eyes for vision instead of just one because :

1. With two eyes we get a wider view of our surroundings rather than with one eye as one eye can cover only 150° whereas two eyes can cover 180°.

2. Two eyes makes the image 3-D whereas one eye can give only a 2-D image. The 2 eyes helps us to look for distance and depth of the object in front from us.
