Why do we have two form of vision and not just one?

two eyes provides us with awider field of view. When both our eyesare open, we get a horizontal field of view of about 180 degrees. ... Our eyes send these two slightly different images to the brain. The brain blends or combines both the images to makea three dimensional image of theobject.
