why do we hive extra money when we go to hotels..or restraunts...but when we go to a person foe ex.an egg seller who is very much poor, then we give less money to them or say them to decrease it...why is such a mentality present in our minds..?we should help the people those who are in need not those who doesnt want it..! then why are we partial...?..can anyone has the truth of my answer..?

we always show our status , attitude , dignity when we go outside of the house...
if u give pay extra money to them..they will think that u are rich and starts praising u..
that is wt u or we need it!!!..

Honestly speaking, we are trying to satisfy the ego. When we are in hotel, we try to pay how much ever the bill is as, everything is documented and more than that it is a prestigious issue.

However, the egg seller quotes the amount verbally without any documentation, so we try to negotiate. Instead if he gives us a bill, we don't utter a word and will pay the amount he quoted. Other than that, there are no people to observe you if you do a cheap bargain.

So to conclude,
1. Ego satisfaction,
2. Lack of documentation.
