why do we keep and acetone at coal places

Because ether and acetone are very volatile in nature. They can easily evaporate at room temperatures. They take up the heat from the atmosphere and the molecules of acetone or ether use this heat up to evaporate. So, this is the reason why they are kept in a cool place.
