• We live in crust because, the core and mantle are too hot that we will burn up and also as they are too close to Earth's strong gravity, that we would not be able to lift our feet or even stand up on our feet.

• The topmost layer, crust helps us to overcome these difficulties and maintain a healthy distance from Earth's  gravity.
• Also plants can grow on the fertile crust only.
