It provide us sets of fundamental right which is needed to live a free and descent life. Case in point if FR are not there any one can be prosecuted according to the will of state, as what we see in medieval India, also during emergency we have seen peoples were put behind the bar with out any valid reason.
It also provide set of principals to be fallowed while making any legislation by the legislature. It not only help law makers in framing law but also help us in judging them.
It tells us about nature of governance i.e. Democratic form of governance with Secularism, Equality & Justice as prime principals. Imagine India a country with Monarch & his words as rule & law.
