We need a law on minimum wages so that workers may get fair wages by their employers. Most often they are denied fair wages by their employers. The employers usually take advantage of their poverty and pay them low wages.

a) Currently applicable minimum wages in Delhi are Rs 14,842 per month for unskilled workers, Rs 16,341 for semi-skilled-workers and Rs 17,991 for skilled workers.

b) I think is Low for that Construction Workers.

c) The Labour Department decides to make revisions in minimum wage rates mandatory within three years. 2015: From 1 July 2015 the National Floor Level of Minimum Wage was raised to Rs 160 per day.
