As time is essential to be accurate and same in all parts of the Country , Indian government has taken 82°30' as the standard meridian

you know many countryes have different time zones of the so consider you travelling to india to america you take your wach with you but when you reach america and check your wach it is morning in india and evening in america see this this cause a lot of confusion so there are prime meridian and standard merdian , prime meridian is ment for the whole world but standard merians evry country has its own standard merdian because the time zones in a country also differs if you look kerla and hyderbhad there is two hour difference .
