Our country has a time lag of two hours from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh due to which there will be different time for different places. This will create problems and confusion in the management of our country. To solve this problem there is need to have a common time throughout India. Hence, time along the standard meridian of India (82 degree 30 mintutes east).
