Answer:

Computer memory is a part in a computer that is ESSENTIAL and I will explain why in the upcoming sentences. So, when you do a task in your PC/Laptop, you have your program, (lets take a game here for example) running right? When you are in a game, you see lots of things like interactive menus, text, graphics, and whenever you click on something interactive, it gives a response and does more things. These data is not to be stored in the computer permanently and is instead stored in the computer memory (RAM), because this data is just required when the program is open, AND is needed to give to the CPU quickly to give us an output fast. When the program is closed, all this temporary data related to the program just gets erased. So, the larger the RAM is, the better it helps your tasks run smoother, because more capacity helps store more information, providing a smooth workflow. So a PC Without a memory will basically NOT WORK. (because your Operating System uses memory too ;)

Hope you got it! Sorry if it is too complicated by any means :)
