Why do we need democracy?Give two examples each for (fair and unfair)

In Democracy rights were given to the citizens right to vote right to freedom of religion right to choose etc.
in democracy you have the power to choose ur leader...
But in Dictatorship (non democratic) You didn't have any right...
you can't choose ur leader...

Note I think democracy is best
