why do we need election

India is a  democratic country..which means by the people  and for the people..so in democratic countires people have the right to vote to their favourite person and they are given a chance to elect their leaders

we need election in continous intervals because
politics is something which makes leaders greedy..
leaders might change with time..
hence conducting elections is good to maintain discipline among the politicians
