we know that our country India is a democratic country and one of big reason of this is "elections" without elections, a country can never be democratic. elections give all adult citizens right to vote and can choose any representative whom they think eligible and will make good decisions for the country. and in elections, all candidates have a fair chance to lose whether they are poor or rich, educated or not educated.
