1) The Indian constitution is the most detailed constitution in the world. It contains as many as 395 articles and runs into a huge no. of pages.
Till 2006( october) the constitution has amended 93 times
2) The Indian constitution is federal constitution with a strong center
3) An important feature of Indian constitution is that its preamble forms an integral part of the Indian constitution. The preamble embodies the spirit and ideals which the people of india aspire for.
4) Another characteristic feature of the constitution of india is the incorporation of certain fundamental rights and fundamental duties of the citizens of india.

We need law to maitain and organise our country. It helps in keeping the place in order and peace . If there are strict laws that people shouldn't do bad things and there are fines then people won't do such things . Law is very important in our lives .
