we need a parliament to ensure that you have freedom of speech, movements and association, and to ensure that there is no misuse of authority by elected leaders as constitution describe their powers and limitations to select the national government to control guide , and inform the government for making laws .

Functions:

It has got the representation of all states and UTs, so the problems of each state is discussed and solved in the national prospective.

It discusses the national issues and seek the help of states and in case of state issues, it provides help to states to solve their problems.

It frames legislations and amends laws and constitution according to the present needs and circumstances.

It passes the budgets for the maximum welfare of the masses.

In cases of national emergencies and natural calamities it discusses various important issues for the well being of the nation.  It is the supreme pillar of democracy which is the most powerful in the country. The welfare of the masses of the nation can be assured through the Parliament of the country
