• political parties have an important role in putting forward the government policies and introduce it to the peoples
• political parties are also involved in decision making for our country
• Political parties play an important role when they are in opposition by finding mistakes of the ruling government to correct it

2)Political parties are required for the proper governance of the country according to the set ideologies and are responsible for the growth of political situation of the country.

3)Their existence in a representative democracy ensures that a country runs according to its policies and ideologies, and has a responsive and accounting government who will be able to run the country and manage its affairs efficiently.

4) Without political parties, candidates elected would be free or independent and accountable to the constituency for what they do in the locality.

5)Political parties play an important role in putting forward their ideas and policies and setting up organisations for the welfare of the public.
