QM starts because,

When we rise the temperature not all the wavelength of emitted radiation intensity raised equally (Expected). Instead the Maximum radiation peak got shifted with temperature (Not expected).

When two different wavelength (longer & shorter) light fall on the photo cathodes, in both cases the ejection of electron is instantaneous not waited for longer wavelength (Not expected).

When electron in atomic orbit, it should radiate (Expected). But in certain permitted orbit electron is not radiating and forms a stable atom (Not expected).

When the electron (even single electron) pass through double slit it suppose to form two heap of detection (Expected). But result was interference pattern (Not Expected).

When electron kept inside barrier (potential) should not come out (Expected). But in certain instance it comes out (Not expected).

The value getting from the observation should replicate system (Expected). But observation changed the system parameter and become another unknown (Not expected).

etc.,etc……….

At the level of atoms and sub-atomic particles objects behave very differently and quantum theory is an attempt to describe the behaviour of matter and energy at this sub atomic scale. ... However the act of observing a particle causes it to be detected as a particle in a specific location and not a wave.
