Two main reasons why we need State government in spite of having a central government

1.India is a vast country with extensive territorial jurisdiction. It would not have been possible for a single government to manage the affairs of such a huge country.
2.India is a country with diverse religions, languages and culture which needed careful and efficient handling which was possible only when the powers are divided between state and centre.

India is a democratic country and has 3 parts of judiciary i.e Centre,State and Gram Panchayat of which the centre has the most power.
we require a state government because the centre government only looks into affairs between the states and controls the country as a whole... We require a state govt becuase we need a govt who can look into affairs of our state alone because the central govt cant take care of 29 states all together.
therefore the state govt looks after the problems of the state and the head is known as CHIEF MINISTER(CM).
