Because, it is our past.before we study about future we have to know about past.Because old is gold

we study History to get to know what happened in the past of the India were the country when we were and my parents were not there....
to get to know how struggle our soldiers had done to freedom the india
many our great soldiers and the great peoples like Jawaharlal Nehru , Gandhi ji etc. had lost their life for this India....
This is same for whole world history..
