Most of our energy use comes from fossil fuels like petroleum and coal that provide electricity and gas to power our growing energy needs. These resources are non-renewable which means that we will eventually run out. Conserving energy not only helps to conserve resources but also translates into financial savings.

It is important to conserve energy resources because once we use them all then it will become difficult to find them or they are completely exhausted and it becomes history for us that once we used.
The conventional energy resources like fossil fuel (coal, petroleum) are depleted completely it is difficult to find other sources or may not be sufficient as may require.
The excessive use not only impacts the economy of countries but also environment thus energy resources are directly relate to us.
Though we are finding other resources as bio-diesals which are non conventional and doesn't effect environment but prouce them we need cultivable land which in turn causes food shortage in future.
