We need vegetation because it gives other animal a place to live.

The cutting of forests ruthlessly has created many problems, sick as increase in soil erosion, floods, landslides and extension of desert area. Difference types of pollution have considerably increased. All this disturbs the ecological balances on the earth. Forests help in maintaining an ecological balance as trees helps in purifying the air. They're reduce temperature and increase the amount of rainfall. Forests are also the habitat of wildlife.
