It is important to conserve  resources because of the following reasons:-

 Human population & their needs are increasing at a tremendous rate

Need to conserve resources for future generations.

1) Resources are vital for our survival.
2) If resources are used as free gifts of nature, then they will be wasted and exhausted.
3) Concentration of resources in a few hands increases inequality.
4) Global crises such as global warming, ozone layer depletion require resource planning.
5) Resource planning is elemental forsustainable existence which there by gives sustainable development.
