So that you know you have your life span put into a zone.If there were no measured time for example, you wouldnt know how fast your travelling, how long that cake is in the oven, how long you are writing an exam, how much time you are spending on each activity. People would have gotten accustomed to their own routines.
Shops for instance, offices, schools, colleges, institutes and anything and everyplace, would have their own time scales. You wouldnt want to work seeing the moon till the sun comes above your head do you?
People will have no regular patterns in sleeping or doing any sort of work. Farming, agriculture and industries would have been a menace, people coming and leaving as they like to. Everything would have gone downhill.
The country, or, the entire earths productivity, wellness, man power and development would have hit to a rock bottom as there wouldnt have been any collaboration between anykind of thing.
