We need resource planning in India as --

1) Many resources are non- Renewable and can be finished after sometime
We need to conserve them for future generation. Eg -- Fossil fuels


2) Rapid exploitation of resources leads to environmental issues.


3) With the increase in population, the demand of resources is increasing which might lead to scarcity of resources.
