- A document is considered official if it is received from WES, or sent to us directly from the issuing institution in a sealed envelope with the official university stamp across the seal.If the envelope is not stamped and sealed, or if it has been opened, it is considered unofficial.

Hi!, you’re 8th standard right? I’m an 8th grader.
The answer:- We need to refer to unofficial records because in many events that have taken place and have been recorded officially, the British/government wrote them according to their side of the story. In other words, the official records were often one sided and positive about the British making them not reliable. The difficulties of countrymen/Indians were not shown too.
