why do we need to use fresh soil for cultivating jute plant every year

Jute plant demands high amount of fertility in the soil..They can cultivate in River Basins,Alluvial soil or loamy soil.And Red soil requires pH of 4.8 to 5.8..

Only a new soil can behold this much manure availability for jute cultivation.
