Answer: We do not feel air pressure although there is a tall column of air above us because the human body too exerts an equal amount of pressure outwards and it cancels the effect of atmospheric pressure.

Our body also releases a counter pressure because of which we don’t feel air pressure. An astronaut wears space suit as there is no air in space an d because of the pressure from body nerves will burst.
