why do we not feel the heat and light of the star​

  • It is because stars (other than sun) are very, very far away from us and the energy generated from them is lost in surrounding via absorption in the surrounding medium.
  • but we can see light emitted by stars unless there is some blocking medium in between such as dust clouds.
