We not get energy if we try to eat coal.

Explanation:

Consuming food is one of the important source from which human beings get energy. This energy is produced when the enzymes are secreted in their body. Carbohydrates, fats and proteins are broken into simple forms with the help of these enzymes.

Coal, on the other hand is made up of carbon. In the human body, there is no enzyme that can help in the release of energy from coal. It is because of this reason that humans are unable to use coal to get energy.
