because in our surroundings many things are there which absorbs the sound energy and by this sound is absorbed and we can't hear echo

We can't hear echos in our ordinary surrounding because we all know that the reflected sound is called echo and it only reflect when a object or surfaces are more than 17 cm away from the direct sound source, our surrounding have so many things. So, clearly sound is absorbed and we can not hear echos
