WHY DO WE NOT LOOK EXACTLY LIKE OUR PARENTS OR SIBLINGS ,EVEN THOUGH WE INHERIT GENES FROM OUR PARENTS ?

We inherit genes from both of our parents.Our characteristics are determined by the genes we get from our parents.The chromosomes ( which contains the genes) can be from either of your parents.And there are 23 pairs of chromosomes in a human body.So this opens up the gate for a wide variety of offsprings.
