Infants should get two doses of Hepatitis A immunity vaccination, to be protected against the disease. The first dose should be before 23 months and the second should be administered 6 months after the last shot.
Hepatitis A is a disease which results in inflammation of the liver and which spreads easily among humans. It is caused by prolonged exposure to toxins, alcoholism or through infection from others.
