why do we not use coal gas as a cooking fuel

Because it cause too much air pollution and affects our health and cause breathing problems like asthma .

There are about 150-200 years of coal left on earth. If everyone starts using coal as a cooking fuel, the whole of the world's coal reserve will be over within a matter of a few months!! That's why we dont use coal as a cooking fuel. We do not use coal as a cooking fuel because LPG is a far-far better fuel then coal.
