Why do we not use metal containers to keep lemon juice?

Lemon juice has citric acid present in it . When the lemon juice is kept in metal containers the acid reacts with metal to produce hydrogen gas and a metallic salt .

 

    ACID + METAL= METALLIC SALT + HYDROGEN GAS ^

And this metallic salt formed can be toxic .

Thus lemon juice is not kept in metal containers to prevent it from spoiling.
