why do we often feel so lonely even if everyone is around is it "we" or just "me"

It happens with everyone especially with teenagers.......no reason can be explained for this...maybe for the emotional changes which takes place we often feel lonely even though there are throngs of people around us...I am a victim of it too......

You might call it existential loneliness. No matter how close your friends may be, you are still alone inside your head.
As much as others care for you, they don't really share your experience. They have wishes, likes, and dislikes that don't exactly match your own.....
