Woods are good place for Carpentar ant, Lyctinae and other wood eating insects to make their shelter and eating.
Paintings are a simple ways or a formula which can prevent the insects from eating and spoiling the wood quality.
Normally the doors and windows of house which are exposed towards outside have the maximum chances.
So painting the wooden windows and doors are the best way to get rid.
