why do we prefer a convex mirror as a rear view to be mixed in a beaker

A convex mirror diverges the incident light beam and always forms a virtual small and erect image between pole and focus this fact enables the driver to use it as a rear view mirror in vehicles to see all the traffic approaching from behind although a plane mirror can also be used for the purpose but a convex mirror provides much wider field of view as compared to the plane mirror of the same size.

Normally if we see from convex mirror itwill be cross image but in concave mirror normally we can see clearly the image but when we keep the concave mirror in the beaker we cannot see the image clerly but when we keep the convex mirror we can see the image clearly
