why do we prefer a convex mirror as a reawiew mirror in vehicles?

because to see the vehicles we should turn backwards so that by using convex mirrors we can clearly see the backward image and the incident rays will diverge

we use a convex mirror as a reaview mirror because using a plane view mirror will not show vehicles far away closer while using a convex mirror will show vehicles closer and we can move away and give way. it is also useful for ambulances.
