why do we prefer democracy of non democray countries?

This is because in democracy we have the independence to protest, to move freely, to say anything which doesn't hurts someone and to elect our rulers and change if we think that they are not working properly. Whereas in a non democracy, we cannot protest against the govt. , we cannot go anywhere, we cannot say anything freely to anyone and we are not allowed to elect our rulers and have to tolerate them even if they are not working properly.
