why do we prefer parallel connection over series connections in our house

parallel connection offers less resistance than series connection. is easy to maintain
is case of any fused appliance, in series connection it stops the working of all other appliance; while in parallel connection it dosent affect othe appliances in connection.

we prefer parallel connection over series connection because in the parallel connection if one appliances stop working but all other is still working and having different current but series connection don't have this
