Why do we say 'home sweet home' and not 'house sweet house'?

because house is a flat and home is a flat but which is made with family and love.

A house is just 4 walls and roof. People may not live there. But a home is where a family or people live. Hence it is called 'home sweet home' and not 'house sweet house'.....
