since it only involves change of physical state of ice ....i.e it get changed into water.....
no chemical process is involved and it is reversible.....

This is because the water obtained from the melted ice can be frozen again. There are no chemical changes taking place. Only the physical characteristics of water change and they can easily be recovered.
