Why do we say plants have rna and animals have dna?

Hi Friend

It is not neccesarily that a plant should have RNA or an animal should have DNA.

Generally viruses have RNA as their genome.

Viruses that infect plant generally have single stranded RNA but viruses that infect animal generally have ssRNA dsRNA or dsDNA.
