Why do we say that tender mangoes shrink when it is salted?​

Since the salt solution has a lower concentration of water molecules due to the salt, the water molecules will simply move out of the mango through osmosis to balance out the percentage.

because of hypertonic solution outside so water present in mango comes out to the hypertonic solution so mangoes shrink......
