why do we say that time is precious.

every minute of our life is precious is important because it can change the stage of our life and when we will not waste even one minute can suceed in our life

we say that time is precious because every thing we can stop but not time.
for example if you take any programme or interview or board exam or assignment they are given particular time to complete or attend if get prepared and attend in the particular time only we will be succesfull if not fail and wait till 1 year if happens every time then you become old. that is why we should utilise time,we cant sy it to stop,till now no invention is created like time machine to go in past
