Why do we see scarce natural vegetation in UAE?

It has the simplest answer!!!
   We have scarce natural vegetation in UAE as it is a arid and hot region covered with sand, in other words, it is a desert region Also has very less water supply. And less rainfall doesn't help it at all.
           And its a Miracle that people and wildlife have survived till now...
