The stars are there both in night as well as in day but during the day the sun is so bright that we are not able to see the stars but at night the sky is dark and the light of moon is less so the light from the stars make the stars visible.

Hope this helps you .....:)

The stars are in the sky both day and night. During the day our star, the sun, makes our sky so bright that we cannot see the much dimmer stars. At night ,when the star is dark, the light of the star is seen.
