Why do we see water droplets on outer surface of of a glass containing ice cold water?

its due to condensation of the vapour present around the glass container . those condense and stuck with the surface of glass.

sometimes we see water droplet on the glass containing ice this is because the water vapour present in air on coming in contact with the cold glass of water loses energy and gets converted to liquid state which we see as water droplets
